Soil Champion

The trophies and medallions created in the body of work were created to award soils as a hero in environmental conservation. The soils are always at work in sustaining our natural environments. They have endured pollution, mistreatment and have been overlooked, stepped on and treated as dirt. Yet! Through it all, life in soils is always working towards health and homeostasis. 

Using the soil samples as the feature of the trophies and medallions honors the power and strength of the role soils play in our natural environments.

These medallions and trophies are made to honor our soil heroes. The soils never sleep and continuously play a role in sustaining our natural environments. These pieces celebrate, honor and call forth the important work of our soils!
